Mentoring Mission Accomplished
After intensive weeks of preparation and two months of implementation, we are happy to report that our Co-Age Volunteers Program for volunteer mentors has finally been finalized on 24.02.2022. The mentoring program was held online, as the safety and health of our participants needed to come first!
From November 25th to 28th, 2021, members of the consortium of the EU-funded project “DigiMedia” met in Athens for another transnational project meeting. The project aims to provide teachers in adult education with suggestions and assistance for the digitalization of teaching activities.
In 2021 a website is not enough, so in a first step, we spread our virtual presence to Linkedin & Instagram. We keep you updated there on what we do and perhaps that helps with visiting our website again in the future.
New Website launched
Today the new website of the ESEC was launched and in this context also the design was slightly rebrushed. This external appearance will be expanded in the following with past and future activities, as well as further information about the association and materials of the ESEC.
During the Transnational Project Meeting in Limassol, Cyprus, there was an intensive exchange regarding the conducted events with teachers. How can these experiences be integrated into new courses and how to deal with the different basic knowledge of the participants were central questions of the extensive exchange.
Co-Age Volunteers
The Austrian Young Workers Movement (ÖJAB) commissions ESEC within the framework of the project Co-Age Volunteers, part of the Interreg Slovakia-Austria program, to provide methodological support for the design of a mentoring program and in the implementation of “Train the Mentor” measures.
The Comenius EduMedia Award Ceremony on July 5th, 2021 in Berlin, Germany was a great opportunity for a Transnational Project Meeting in the DIGIMEDIA project.
New Board elected
During the General Assembly a new Board of Directors was elected for the period 2021-2024. A joint team of Thomas A. Bauer, Bernd Mikuszeit, Christos Giannoulis, Marlies Bitter-Rijpkema & Peter Csizmar is running and was elected unanimously.
